In what little time existed before Loki's death and resulting rebirth as his child self, it seems that Loki would become rather intimate with a young woman preparing to work in Japan on a developing project known as the 'Momentum Project'. Laura Hogan as she was called would somehow survive the blast that occurred soon after starting to work there; she'd been sent home after it was determined by her collegues that she was overall too ill to be there for that particular day.

Quite unfortunately childbirth itself would not be as kind to her, leaving Crow not only without a mother, but entirely unaware of his father. Who, in turn, was entirely unaware of him.

As such, his heritage is also unknown, not that that's difficult; the presence of Momentum as it is seems to dampen his otherworldly genes. Any slips from human visage have gone entirely unnoticed, and as for magic?
